While Mrs. Disney provide the motivation and resources to initiate the dream of a latest concert hall for Los Angeles, the County of Los Angeles established a profound commitment to the dream by providing the land for the concert hall site and important additional financial support to finance the hall's subterranean parking garage. Additional, the County worked by the concert hall's building leadership to set up a set of exacting standards for the concert hall's conclusion, and demonstrated an unflagging commitment to the hall's realization. Moreover, the County dedicated to creating a more pedestrian welcoming environment along Grand Avenue with the Grand Avenue Pedestrian development Project.
